YES, we did it again!

Thanks to 7 individual contributors and a significant donation from the Société Générale in Mauritania we have the pleasure to announce today the closing of the successful fundraising for the ecoproject “Spoonbills of Nair in Mauritania”.

This is the 10th ecoproject supported by our Ecofund Community. Thanks to our support and to the support from the International Foundation for the Banc d’Arguin (la FIBA), Ahmed, his Association of Friends of the Banc d’Arguin (AABA) and his ecopartner, the Parc National du Banc d'Arguin, will be able to restore the dunes of the island Nair, and so to save the nesting sites of the Eurasian Spoonbill subspecies (Platalea leucorodia balsaci), which lives only in the National Parc Banc d’Arguin.

This is a very good example of the collaboration between the civil society and the private sector for the protection of our environment.
